GrippaPro 13 Litre Softening Cabinet Softner System
- It uses the unique SPECTRUM 5 Valve for compact design and complete control.
- Its ready to install with integral vessel, resin, brine tank and brine valve system.
- Tested and certified for reliability and peace of mind. NSF 44 tested & certified.
- It precisely measures the volume of soft water produced, optimising salt usage.
- Minimal regenerations - this means less wastewater to drain during regeneration process.
- Clear operational information on the LCD display.
- The visual alarm indicates when the salt refill is due.
- Immediate or delayed regeneration for flexibility and optimal salt usage.
- The integrated bypass allows usage of hard water when soft water is not required.
- The blending valve provides complete control over hardness.
- The quality components meet PED & CE directives.
- Easy programming so you can adapt settings to your needs.
Please note:- whilst softened water can be drunk, it is highly recommended that a separate mains supply with carbon filtration is installed/maintained for human consumption.

How often does a Spectrum 13 Water Softener need to regenerate, and hence how often would it need to be refilled with salt?
As an example:
Capacity @ 450ppm = 1.4m3 (1400 litres)
If customer uses 700 litres per day then;
1400 litres / 700 litres = system regen every 2 days
System Salt Storage Capacity = 10 kg
System Salt Consumption per Regen = 1.5 kg
Regeneration before Salt used up = 10 kg / 1.5 kg = 6 regens
Salt Top Up therefore required every 12 days.
The water hardness and water usage will affect how often the system needs to regenerate; the salt storage capacity and salt consumption are fixed values.
