Should I buy double valved or non valved connections?

It really is down to personal preference, but we'd always recommend buying double valved connections - why?

Non-valved connections means that, once disconnected, the water will continue to flow through the male connector. (Ie. On your portable hose reel, one you disconnect your reel from the port, the water is blocked from coming out of the port and draining your tank. However, your reel with 100m of hose is not shut off so the pressurised water will pour out of the reel as you disconnect - more often than not leaving you soaked.) 

Double-valved means that, when you disconnect the connection, the water will stop flowing through both connections. but remain pressurised. When you re-connect the water begins to flow straight away. Prevent spillages, quickly manage the water flow and save water as you work.
